Smart people are using it NOW!
I have a friend who uses shredder paper from work in her horse barn. They it gets tilled in the garden with the horse droppings. She always has the best gardens. Also can be used whole sheets under the mulch to stop weeds from growing between your plants.

It is being done now, one of the major reasons newspaper printers have gone to soy-based inks and less-processing on their papers is to facilitate the recycling of their product - which is highly desposable. Other printers are following suit and it makes the recycling process easier when printers use less harsh chemicals.

Until they start making paper without toxins like dioxin, it is not going into my garden.

even if u are using printed paper, u can make it into a safe compost. I have used some product from “ativa biosciences”, which works really good. I am supplying it to Indonesia on a big way.
