I don’t know about websites, there are a few good messageboards on ivillage where you can ask lots of questions.
But the best book I have come across is: “The Vegetable Gardener’s Bible” by Edward C. Smith. You can get it at any bookstore or library.
michiganbulb.com has all kind of suggestions and information about anything you need to know about planting and growing flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, perennials, etc. It’ll show you what your area suggestions are and even ideas for garden planning.
Try Garden Web. Lots of good information there and a lot of different topics on gardening…..
