I am a landscaper and designer. I have a website - landscape solutions for you. There is information on growing from seeds, properly planning - prepping - planting, tips and techniques, many articles on all aspects of landscape and gardens, a tropics section, and a photo gallery. I will link you to the site map as this page has everything that is on the website. Browse through and see if you can find the information you are looking for.

My personal favorite which i go to quite a bit is
Given you’re from MI, I assume (Michiganrocks kind of gives it away ;o), their extension offices are thorough eventhough I find most to be very agriculture oriented. Each individual county should have specific information on your region in which you live. Publications are plentiful and many, you can research on line and download and print at your leisure.
If you can’t find what you want on line call or stop in at your local office with your questions. Their job is to help YOU!
