Bizarre! I’ve never heard of anything like this.
Old myth. All kinds of things are supposedly ruined if a woman on her period gets near them or does them. Some religions have a whole list of things too.

that’s the craziest thing I have ever heard. I would have come back at them well if you haven’t brushed you teeth today then you can’t be around when canning either…….lol
I’m pretty sure that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard.
I have been hearing that for years also, but don’t know if it is true or not. scientifically it does’t sound reasonable.
