So far as I know, there aren’t any precise dilution rates for applying seaweed, although labels give guidelines. The beneficial effects of using seaweed always seemed to me like more it just made the plants healthier than any specific nutrient it was giving. Seaweed seems like great stuff to me. My favorite has been Maxi-Crop powder.

I live on Long Island, and just about every town that borders the ocean will give residence all the seaweed they want. Every year I get 2,000 lbs of free seaweed to roto til into my vegetable gardens and flowerbeds. Our towns will even deliver if we can’t pick it up, but they charge for the delivery. I don’t make a fertilizer tea out of it because it takes too much room and if I don’t use it right away the tea will foul. If you border the ocean call your town hall and ask if they have a program like the one I have.
