Gardening Gifts FAQ:
I planted a package of wildflower seeds, some have started to sprout. I want to make sure I don’t mistake them for a weed. I know a few of the persistant weeds but I can’t really tell they all look somewhat similiar.

If you know all the varietys of flower seeds involved, you can also look them up individually. Hope this helps.
Good luck. I have sworn off planting those packages. The blend on seeds varies not only manufacturer to manufacturer but the same grower can have a variation. When I tried I let them go to 2 - 3 inches tall then layed down in the grass and stared at them. If I saw one that looked like something from a different garden bed then I assumed it was a weed.
A good Web site is
why do you want a book of garden seeds?? looking at the seeds will not tell you what the plants look like!! just leave them be for a few more days and you will be able to tell the difference easily and THEN remove the weeds!!
