Gardening Gifts FAQ:
My mother and i were gardening outside when she ripped out a small plant which we were covering with weed block. We discovered seconds after that it was a bay leaf plant. Is it possible to regenerate the plant by putting it in soil and adding some special formual to make it grow roots i’ve seen it done on a gardening tv show before. I just can’t remember what they did.

Try Schultz`s root hormone and that should regenerate it when you put it in soil! Good Luck as I transplant nearly all my plants with root hormone!!!!!!!
As long as the main roots wernt damaged, replant it and give it some Quick-Start to prevent transplant shock.Make a little tent from some newspaper to keep it out of direct sun until it takes hold.Or until it feels better! Bye
You can use a rooting hormone such a Roottone and keep the soil moist. If it is a California Bay laurel the (a native plant) it will be more pungent and leaves more elongatedthan Laurel Noblis which has thicker, greener, and more rounded leaves.
